Character Math is an In-Person Service; that provides Supplemental Materials regarding Mathematics, surrounding Multiplication & Division:
• Character Math has a 2-week (10-day) to 3-week (15-day) math course that teaches students their math facts permanently. Focusing on Multiplication & Division, which is the core of all advanced math to help students meet & or supersede proficiency. Regardless of Mathematical advancements like algebra or calculus. Multiplication & Division is the base of understanding. With Character Math, Students can develop fluency & mental math skills without depending on inaccurate methods like the 12×12 or the calculator. Students normally become reliant on these things & when they do; their fluency & number sense actually decline over time. With Character Math, you won’t only understand Numbers but also REMEMBER them just as effortlessly as you remember 2+2=4.
• Given 15 to 30 minutes out of each day before math class, for 10 to 15 days is the installation implementation process, that can be run for each day before math class to aid all mathematical academic practices, which is what we recommend. The program can also be run as an after School activity for students that are falling behind or need more attention in general. Following the steps within the Character Math Hand-Book will guide you through the process of how the program works. Understanding the Numerical Ladder Guarantees that every student can progress in math without failing or being left behind due to the lack of understanding how Numbers work. The main issue with students failing in math to date, is because they do not have a secure relationship with Numbers. Character Math builds that relationship through Pattern Recognition. Dependable programs are needed for students to trust in what they can do, to achieve their goals. Character Math can provide that understanding without disturbing regular classroom programming/practices.
• Character Math is the Bridge between The Tortoise & The Hare: It allows Struggling Students (The Tortoise) an opportunity to catch up to The Hare, because they have a better understanding of Numbers, being able to Multiply & Divide. Students will successfully meet the proficient level Schools & or Districts aim for, effortlessly. Trying to get students to memorize 81 to 144 equations based off of the 12×12 doesn’t work. Character Math simplifies this process through daily activities that will undoubtedly change grade averages & that’s a mathematical fact.
The Character Math Program is built around the Numerical Ladder; a newly designed numerical chart that serves as a strategic tool for strengthening a learner’s relationship with the number system. Each number within the Numerical Ladder has a defined structure that corresponds with its numerical counterparts. These relationships follow identifiable patterns that repeat at specific points, allowing students to visually recognize and understand numerical behavior.
Through this structured visualization, students learn how numbers interact rather than relying on memorization. This understanding enables students to multiply independently and accurately, using logic instead of guesswork. The tool is called the Numerical Ladder because students progress step by step through number structures, building mastery as they climb.
Project Phase Summary
Phase 1: Pattern Recognition & Number Structure Awareness
Students learn to identify number patterns and become familiar with foundational pattern structures.
Phase 2: Applied Use of the Numerical Ladder
Students actively exercise the Numerical Ladder to solve multiplication and division problems with confidence.
Phase 3: Advanced Number Breakdown
Students progress into breaking down larger numbers through advanced stages of the program, extending their understanding beyond basic operations.
Proven Across Learner Groups
Character Math delivers measurable results for:
Elementary, Middle, and High School students
Special Education and intervention learners
“Bubble” and at-risk students
Troubled youth, college students, teens, and adults
Our instructional formula has been tested and proven across diverse educational environments and learner backgrounds. Beyond improving performance, Character Math transforms how learners see, trust, and engage with numbers, building a strong mathematical foundation that supports long-term success.
Character Math ensures measurable student growth and classroom success. When implemented correctly, our program develops lasting fluency and mental math skills through daily, structured, step-by-step exercises in the Character Math Handbook. Students progress phase by phase, building confidence, independence, and mastery of multiplication and division. For teachers, this means classrooms stay on track, instructional time is optimized, and student engagement increases, reducing remediation needs and improving overall math performance.
Understanding numbers is as fundamental as understanding the alphabet in literacy. Character Math’s Numerical Ladder equips students with a deep conceptual understanding, allowing every learner to progress without gaps or delays. This approach ensures that students are not just memorizing facts, they are learning to think mathematically, which leads to stronger outcomes in advanced math, higher standardized test performance, and long-term academic success.
Why it matters for schools and districts:
Proven to accelerate mastery for all student groups, including general education, special education, and intervention learners
Reduces learning gaps in foundational math skills
Enhances student confidence and classroom engagement
Provides teachers with a reliable, structured framework to monitor progress and maintain instructional momentum
By choosing Character Math, districts and schools invest in a program with demonstrable results, designed to maximize student achievement and support teachers in delivering high-quality mathematical instructions.
Character Math serves learners of all ages:
Ages 4 and up
Kindergarten through 12th Grade
Teens and Adults
Program Differences: 2-Week vs. 3-Week Programs
2-Week (10-Day) Program
Designed for high school students, young teens, and adults
Focuses on advanced comprehension and application of multiplication and division concepts
Highly effective for college students struggling with Algebra, Geometry, or Calculus
Accelerated format allows learners to build mastery efficiently
3-Week (15-Day) Program
Tailored for elementary and middle school students
Breaks concepts into small, focused steps to develop pattern recognition and foundational understanding
Engages younger minds with attention-grabbing, age-appropriate methods, including nursery rhymes for preschoolers
