Day 3) If all is well, take things to the next level with Pattern recognition using Ki Number Steps; 1 & 9. Assemble your students into Small Groups with a selected group leader using Work Sheets & allow the group leader to help their group openly as you teach. Expose opposite numbers with your groups. Recap comparison with 2 & 8 or any of the Val’s partnering Numbers. Things will be simple with 1 & 9. This will be more of an easy day because 1 & 9 may have more to its pattern but also has the simplest structure, so use this day to help your students grasp the numbers worked on; 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 & 9. Really take the time to express Pattern Exposure & Divisions as you go along for it is the core of the program.
On this day & the following, exposePattern Development. Every pattern is found within the 1’s Division (or the 1’s Placement), which lines up on the Right Side, compared to the Division Changes that lines up on the Left Side.
